The Ovako Twente mill is situated in the city of Almelo, in the province of Twente in the Netherlands. It is located close to the German border and approximately 150 km east of Amsterdam.

 

The mill was started in 1989 as a greenfield project. It was designed according to modern views about productivity and material flows. Today, Ovako Twente BV is part of the Ovako Cromax operations. The Twente unit manufactures and delivers ground and hard chrome plated bars and tubes mainly for hydraulic applications.

Outside Europe, Ovako Twente delivers to Asia and Australia.
